What is the purpose of power fittings?
Power fittings are metal parts used to connect power transmission line towers, wires, lightning protection wires and insulators, or to protect wires, lightning protection wires, insulators, etc.
Basic requirements: Power fittings are generally made of cast steel and malleable cast iron. It is required that the circuit fittings should have sufficient mechanical strength, and the part of the fittings connecting the conductors should have good electrical properties. In the manufacturing process of the line fittings, there should be no burrs, flashes, trachoma bubbles, cracks and deformation, the surface should be smooth and the galvanized layer should be uniform. The matching fittings should be of suitable specifications, no missing parts, and no corrosion. The screw and nut should be well matched. The contact surface of the clamp hull pressure plate and the wire should be smooth, and the manufacturing quality and size should comply with national standards.
