2. Select the diameter of the installation wire. Considering the main technical parameters of OPGW cable, such as tension, wind speed, terrain and other factors, determine the selection of anti-vibration hammer.
Selection of wire diameter: The diameter of the wire is the sum of the diameter of the optical cable and twice the diameter of the twisted wire in the tension clamp (or suspension clamp). When installed on the protective wire, the diameter of the wire is twice the diameter of the optical cable plus the diameter of the protective wire.
Precautions:
1. According to calculation, if the installation position of the anti-vibration hammer falls on the inner stranded wire, it is not necessary to install the protective wire, and it can be installed directly.
2. If the calculated installation position of the anti-vibration hammer falls on the optical cable, a protective wire must be installed, and the end of the protective wire must be at least 50mm away from the end of the inner strand.
3. If the installation position of the anti-vibration hammer falls on the outer stranded wire, it can be offset a little and directly installed on the inner stranded wire, but the center of the anti-vibration hammer is greater than 50mm from the end of the outer stranded wire.
4. Hammer head orientation: The small hammer head faces the tower.
